Swimmer Registration - Summer 2025

Please use this form to register your swimmer for the Waterford Stingrays summer swim team. Each summer, the season starts mid-May and ends mid-July. The season is approximately 9 weeks long. To join the team, a swimmer must be able to swim 25 meters (the length of the pool) without touching the bottom. A swimmer does NOT need to know all the strokes - the coaches will teach them!  However, swimmers do need a background in basic swim lessons to build on their progress.  Our Team Meet & Greet is on Tuesday, May 13th on the pool deck!  We offer Pup Camp for new swimmers on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 and Thursday, May 15, 2025 (5:30-6:30 PM both days) which can help determine swimmer readiness and introduce young swimmers to the pool with a more individual approach.  Regular practice starts Monday, May 19, 2025.  The first full week of practice can serve as a trial period for any swimmers wanting to try it out.  Last day to register and be included on the team shirt is on Sunday, April 27th, although we will accept new registrations through first week of practice on Friday, May 23rd.

Any cancellations prior to May 23rd are subject to $50 fee per swimmer. If your swimmer is uncertain and either wants to try out pup camp or first week of practice, registration will be accepted through May 23rd but names will NOT be included on the custom team t-shirt since our custom t-shirts must be ordered by April 27th for printer deadline.

Summer swim team is competitive, but also FUN and the memories and friendships made last well beyond the summer. We hope you will join us!

  • I will show respect to my coaches, teammates, opponents, officials, swim managers and parents at all times.
  • I will be a team player.
  • I will remember winning is not everything- that having fun, playing fair, improving my skills, working hard, making friends
and doing my best are more important.
  • I will honor my commitments.
  • I understand that practices and meets are equally important.
  • If I can attend a meet, I will try to help my parents remember to sign me in for all meets I am able to attend.
  • I will be respectful of the facilities that our club uses.
  • I understand that inappropriate behavior reflects poorly on my team and would undermine my team’s efforts in achieving its
         goals.
  • I understand that repeated inappropriate behavior may be grounds for dismissal from the team.

    Parent Code of Conduct

As a proud parent of a swimmer for the Waterford Swim Team I agree to the following:
