Welcome, Waterford Stingrays families! We're so excited to have you on the team and can't wait for all of the fun that's coming up this season.
Registration/Merchandise:
Team registration closes TONIGHT, Sunday, May 19th if you would like your child's name to be included on the team shirt. We will accept last-minute registrations through Friday, May 24th. Extra merchandise orders also close TONIGHT and there will not be a second order this season, so make sure to order all of your team swag now! Order Here.

Volunteer and Meet Sign-ups We are opening the volunteer and meet sign-ups tonight at 8pm via Swimtopia. Meet sign up info ; Volunteer Sign Up Info
This season, each family is required to sign-up for 3 shifts* over the course of our 6 regular-season meets - please double check your calendar before signing up to make sure you're available for the dates you select!! If you'd like to volunteer as a stroke judge (no swim experience required), please make sure that you attend a GFSL training! Stroke Judge Training Sign Up
*If your family has 3 or more swimmers, please think about signing up for an additional shift so we can try to make sure all positions are filled!

We'll try to keep most information within a weekly email, sent out on Sunday's. Heat sheets will always be sent out the day of a meet (excluding City Meet and GFSL Finals - those come sooner). We'll utilize the Swimtopia Mobile app for last minute alerts (those spring and summer thunderstorms sure can pop up out of nowhere!). We'll also use the team Facebook page to communicate reminders and the same alerts that we post on the mobile app.

Before June 7th, practices will be in the evenings:
6&under: 5:30-6:15
7-10 yrs: 5:30-6:30
11&up: 6:35-7:35
Beginning June 10th, practices will shift to the morning, Monday through Friday at the following times:
6&under: 8:45-9:30
7-10: 8:45-9:45
11&up: 9:50-10:50
An evening practice option will be offered on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday:
6 & under: 5:30-6:15
7-10: 5:30-6:30
11&up: 6:35-7:35
*Please note that this practice is intended for swimmers who were unable to attend the morning practice option and is not meant for kids to 'double up'. We have very limited lane space in the evenings!

7-8: Ian, Reese, Dylan
9-10: Ryan and Emily
11-12: Khloe, Natalie and Dylan
13-14: Reese, Ian and Ryan
15-18: Jack and Emily
Equipment
All your swimmer needs are goggles (an extra pair or two are always helpful for emergencies!) and a solid black swimsuit. We don't have any brand or style requirements - Amazon and SwimOutlet both have affordable options available for sale.

Upcoming Dates to Remember:
Monday, May 27th - NO practice for Memorial Day
Tuesday, May 28th - Spirit Day! One of our sponsors, Mediterraneo Pizza & Grill in Clemmons, is graciously donating 10% of their sales to our team! They're open from 11AM-9PM so make sure to grab some delicious Italian food - you can even get takeout and eat dinner poolside during practice!
