Good Morning everyone!

What a way to finish out our regular season! If there was ever a meet to be called for, I would not have had it be last evening! We were able to compete through event 60, heat 1 before thunder and lightning wanted to steal the show! We enjoyed being able to celebrate Coaches Nate, Natalie and Aidan during our senior recognition! They are incredible role models and we are already working on them coming back next summer. :-)

This was definitely a closer  match and Waterford took the Win with 336 to Willow Run's 301. Results are attached! I also want to thank those who helped us both setup (in massive heat) and tore down (in gusty wind!) for the swim meet! All of the other volunteers, were such a tremendous help throughout the meet too! 

We have a lot of other things happening today!

First, this morning is our final FUN practice. We are looking forward to breaking out the slipn'slide (yes, some dish soap will be used!), and then Clemmons Family Law is kindly providing the donuts for our swimmers! They are one of our Sponsors this year! So if I need sugar and law advice, I know where i'm going! It should be a lot of fun! 

PM Practice will be for Finals swimmers ONLY.  

We also are having a little fun out of the sun over at Skateland Clemmons today who is hosting the team starting at 1:30pm. We hope you can join us! Remember to mention you are with the Stingrays! 

Pictures for the Slideshow are due TODAY! I know I have about 10 emails in the Waterford inbox already from last night which is great! 

Lastly, the coaches will be finalizing the list of swimmers for Finals and needed to take last night's meet into consideration. We will be sending out quite a bit of information to those families later today and appreciate everyone's patience in waiting. Everyone will be told who the swimmers are as well. Regardless if your swimmer is invited to Finals or not this year, please express to them that we have truly watched them ALL grow as swimmers this summer and each year provides the same opportunity.
