What a great first week of practice! Everyone was so excited to be back in the pool (even when there were a couple of chilly days)! We are excited to see what this week brings. Below are your updates and reminders for this week:

*Registration / Pool Membership - Registration ends THIS THURSDAY, 5/25. We will not be able to make any exceptions for registration after the 25th. If you know of anyone who plans to join, but has not done so yet, please spread the word!! We also need all of our swimmers and families to be registered for the pool by that date as well. Pool Management will be contacting swim team families who have not paid after the 25th. Venmo (@WaterfordHOA) or CC through the website is the quickest way to pay at this point for membership. *Memorial Day Weekend - NO PRACTICE: In observance of the Memorial Day holiday, we will NOT have practice on Friday, May 26th or Monday, May 29th. 

*Time Trials Practice: Tuesday, May 30th will be Time Trials at practice. Time trials is where each swimmer will do their best to compete in each stroke. This allows the coaches to know who can swim each stroke, who should be on which relay and it basically gets a baseline for the season. 

*Practice Meet June 1st/ Sign-INs due May 27th: Our practice meet for new-to-swim team families, particularly those under 10 years, will be on Thursday, June 1st. Specific information will be emailed to our new families with more details as we get closer. We do need all of the families who plan on participating in the practice meet to declare that their kids WILL be at the meet. If this step is not done, they will not be placed in any events. This is due by Saturday, May 27th. To sign-in, follow the steps below:

SwimTopia – Calendar & Signup – Select Meet Entry for Swim Meet – Edit and select “Attending this meet” or “Not attending this meet”.

- All families can go in and declare their swimmers for all of the season's swim meets. You do not need to wait until it gets closer. Check that off the list!

*Concession Donations: We are asking that all of our drink donations for the concessions during meets, please be sent in by May 31st. Thank you to those who have already brought in cases of soda or gatorade. Last names A-R, please bring a 12-pack of name-brand soda, and last names S-Z, please bring a pack of 12oz Gatorade bottles.
