Swim Team Week 1 Updates - May 8th
Hello Stingray Families!
Our plan this season is to send out a weekly communication to keep everyone up-to-speed on that week's happenings. They may be lengthy but please be sure to read through the details and you can always let us know if you have any questions. Below are updates as we head into the season over the next week:
Meet N Greet/Kick-Off Meeting & Spirit Night: We are looking forward to meeting you this Thursday at our Kick-off meeting. As a reminder, it will be held on the Pool Deck and you can drop by anytime between 5:00pm-7:00pm. We will hold two New Parent sessions at 5:30pm and 6:30pm for those who are new to swim and/or the team! Please be sure to stop by The Habit Burger that night for a Stingray Spirit Night too! They are hosting us anytime between 5:00pm -8:00pm, just mention you are with the Stingrays.

Merchandise: The first round of merchandise is available to order now until May 15th! This is to guarantee items will be here by the first swim meet. We will do a second order shortly afterwards as well. Each swimmer does get a FREE tie-dye shirt that will list all of the swimmers names for this season. You may access the Team Store on our website: https://waterford.swimtopia.
Pup Camp: Do you have a child who loves to swim – who was a fish by the end of last summer or took lessons over the winter? Do you wonder if your child is ready for the swim team? Pup Camp is designed for swimmers ages 4 and older. Our coaches will introduce them to basic swim skills, show them what practices will be like, and determine if they are ready for the swim team as they assess their water safety basics and water comfort level. In order to be on the swim team, ALL swimmers must be able to swim the entire length of the pool without assistance (unless they qualify for ADA assistance). Our two Pup Camp Practices are Monday, May 15th & Tuesday, May 16th. Please see attached calendar for specific age-group times.
New Stingray Email Address: The Stingray Committee has a new email address. You can reach us at W[email protected]We look forward to seeing you all Thursday Night!
